THERESA YOUNG

The Linden Elementary cafeteria was filled with laughter, warm hugs, and plenty of sprinkles this week as we officially kicked off the school year with our annual Donuts with a V.I.P. celebration. It was an incredible two days of community, connection, and sweet treats, making our very first event of the season a huge success.

On Wednesday and Thursday mornings, students proudly walked into school alongside a Very Important Person in their lives. We saw parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and trusted family friends all gather together to share a special morning. Kids loved showing off their cafeteria, introducing their guests to classmates, and catching up with friends before the morning bell rang over fresh donuts, juice, and coffee.

Seeing the bright smiles on our students' faces made every bit of preparation worth it. We want to extend a massive thank you to all the wonderful volunteers, dedicated school staff, and enthusiastic families who helped this event run smoothly from start to finish. Our school community is truly special because of people like you.

This event is just the beginning of a fantastic year ahead, with plenty more fun activities, fundraisers, and family gatherings currently in the works. If you enjoyed this event and want to help bring future ones to life, we would love to have you join us for our next PTO meeting on September 8th at 4:00 p.m.
