Our sixth grade students kicked off our Life Science unit with a hands-on project — creating their very own 3D plant or animal cells! Each model had to accurately identify and label the key parts of the cell.
Students got creative, using all kinds of materials they could find at home to bring their cells to life. From clay and cardboard to pasta and playdough, every project was unique and full of personality!
One student shared, “I really enjoyed doing this project with my family.”
It’s amazing to see science learning come alive through creativity, collaboration, and curiosity
