Mrs. McIntyre’s class this year has had the incredible opportunity to welcome their Adopt-A-Class partner, Matandy Steel & Metal Products!

During their time together, the Matandy team has  spoken with students about their goals and aspirations, encouraging them to dream big and think about what they want to be when they grow up. Students shared their ideas about future careers—from entrepreneurs and engineers to teachers, athletes, and more! The conversation was filled with inspiration, motivation, and thoughtful advice about hard work, perseverance, and believing in yourself.

During their last visit, Matandy led students in a creative and interactive activity. Each student designed their very own business card, complete with:

• Their company name
   
• Their future job title or position
   
• A catchy slogan that represented their personal brand
   

The classroom buzzed with excitement as students brainstormed business names and crafted slogans that reflected their passions and personalities.

Afterward, students proudly presented their business cards to the class, practicing their public speaking skills and sharing their future ambitions. It was inspiring to see their confidence shine as they introduced themselves as CEOs, veterinarians, inventors, artists, and more!

As if the visits aren’t exciting enough, Matandy went above and beyond by bringing winter swag gear for every student! Each child received a choice between: warm gloves, cozy winter hats, or protective neck covers
 

The generous gifts not only brought big smiles but also ensured students are prepared for the colder months.
