Just before spring break, our Kindergarten through Second Grade students were treated to a spectacular visit from the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park! The performers brought a fresh, imaginative twist to the classic fable of "The Tortoise and the Hare," turning our school into a vibrant theater space. Rather than just following the traditional path to the finish line, our students got to explore alternative endings to the story, sparking their creativity and showing them that every tale has multiple sides.
Beyond the race, the performance wove in a beautiful narrative about opposites and the power of friendship, helping our younger learners understand how different personalities can come together to build something great. It was the perfect way to kick off our break—with a little bit of magic, a lot of laughter, and some wonderful lessons about how we treat one another!
