Today was an unforgettable day at Linden thanks to the Butler Tech Junior and Senior Veterinary Technology students, who brought along some of their favorite animal friends for a hands-on learning experience!

Students learned all about different animals and their defense mechanisms, how they protect themselves, and what makes each species unique. Best of all, we got the chance to see them up close and even pet some of them!

Our visitors included an amazing lineup of animals—rabbits, sugar gliders, guinea pigs, chameleons, rat snakes, and even hissing cockroaches! Each animal sparked curiosity, excitement, and plenty of great questions from our students.

Thank you to the Butler Tech Vet Tech students for sharing their knowledge, their passion for animals, and their incredible animal ambassadors with us. It was a fun, educational experience we won’t forget!
